My first wedding shoot!!!

Have I mentioned that I love this?

I was completely excited when this gal - Elizabeth (who works down the hall from me...) asked me if I would take pictures of her wedding at the Bountiful Temple! I have a lot of people to thank for their help in getting me here....my friend Rory for recommending me in the first place - a HUGE THANKS! Heidi for coming and being my moral support and second shooter! And Scott Sumner for his mentoring, advice and time to help ease my crazy nervous stomach (check him out here - he is amazing!!). And then to Elizabeth for allowing me to be a part of her special and amazing day. You were a beautiful bride!

The "L" Family - Sneak peek

When Bry and I had been married a year, we bought our first home. And next door lived this family.... I can't believe how fast we became friends. Trish is one of the most giving and sweetest people I know (not to mention she is an awesome cook - especially to someone who hardly ever cooks -me!!). When we moved 2 1/2 years ago - I was so sad to be leaving her. I miss having her next door - especially since I don't get her yummy yummy treats anymore or get to visit with her as often as I used to. So, anyway, it made my whole day when she asked me to do their family pictures. These are her 3 BEAUTIFUL kiddos.

The "R" Fam - sneek peak

I have been crazy busy - which is good and bad. Bad - because it's taking me forever to post pics! I'm still in the process of getting my website setup....and now thinking it would've been a heck of a lot easier to just have hired someone to do it! Anyway, here's one of the shoots I did last month. I adore this family - and lucky for me - they are family! Kyle is my cousin and we've been close all growing up. I was so excited when he and his wife, Aimee, asked me to do their family pictures. Their little man just melts me - although he really didn't want anything to do with me! He'd see me with that camera and run the other way. Aren't his eyes amazing?! And I LOVED the colors they wore - since orange and green are my favorite colors.

Clint & Mandee Fam - sneek peak

Clint & Mandee are great friends. I've been friends with Mandee since we were in Jr. High, but have known each other since Elementary. I took their family pictures about the same time last year - you can see them here. I can't believe how much the girls have changed in a year!

Clint, thanks for being a good sport. I know how much you LOVE getting your pictures taken. ;) You're still a pain in my rear - jk

Rod & Stef - sneek peak

Rod is my hubster's brother. They're best friends - and I love that. These two are definitely in love and couldn't keep their hands off of each other (maybe it had something to do with the freezing temperatures....nah!) Thanks you two for letting me do whatever I wanted! I love you guys!

I don't know if I like it in color or black & white better.....what do you think?

Miss K - sneek peak

This is one of the Young Women in my ward. I just love her. I was so excited when she and her mom asked me to do her senior pics. Sorry it took me so long girlie. (And thanks Heid for all of the help. I can always count on you!)

My favorite season...

We went up to Albion Basin this weekend to have my sister-in-law take some family pics of us... The colors were AMAZING to say the least. I was so excited going up there - I just wish we would've had more time to stay (hungry, tired kids don't mix with an anxious camera happy mom...) Enjoy the pics.

Check out this doll - my first "newborn shots". Remember the prego pics from here? Such a beautiful mommy and I'm lucky to have her as my friend (her daddy's not so bad either! love ya Mike!) Most of these are just the black & white edits I've done.

Jackson Hole

I just got back from a week in Jackson - my favorite place. There's something about the Tetons that captivates me. I can't get enough of them (just ask Bry - I think I took over 100 pics of just the Tetons!!). My next favorite thing is the old barn on Mormon Row. (Is it weird to be in LOVE with an old barn?!) I had to take advantage of it and get some shots of my kiddos. Bryn is my little poser/model. She LOVES the camera. And Rett is.....well - all boy! I love how they turned out! I just wish I would've had more time. Our nephew Jace and my mother-in-law were with us, so I got some shots of them too.
